OK, OK. You’ve been to Spain for your holidays almost more times than you can count. You are in good company. It’s a wonderful country, with the Mediterranean climate (assuming that you went to the South which is what most people do), so it gets loads of sun throughout the year. It is also a very relaxed atmosphere with a certain “manana, manana” about it. It takes the pressure off.
Then you come back to the UK after your two weeks off, and you are back in the same stressful environment where the weather is unpredictable, to say the least, and the only thing anyone has talked about is LEAVING the EU for nearly 3½ years.
So you make the entirely predictable and sensible decision that it would be a lot better to spend the rest of your life in Spain, where the locals welcome you, and live in the sun. Good for you. But it is nonetheless a big decision. Going to live in Spain full time is a big wrench in some ways.
Furthermore, having made that decision, you also have to find a company for your removal to Spain.
What you need to look for is a SPECIALIST in removals to Spain, and perhaps small removals to Spain if you are not going to take anything more than the basics with you and buy new when you arrive.
Lots of removal companies will say they can move you to Spain, and of course, they can. However, you would be far better off with a company that carries out weekly runs to Spain because it will have the experience you need in order to ensure your belongings arrive safely.
